Nayoung Kwon

Nayoung Kwon, a PhD student in the Department of Cell Biology, graduated from Seoul National University in 2018 with a B.S. in Biological Sciences. During her undergraduate studies, she worked in labs with diverse fields, including biochemistry, epigenetics, and structural biology. Nayoung decided to pursue her PhD in the United States after her experience as an exchange student at the University of Washington in Seattle. She started her PhD studies at Yale in the fall of 2018 and joined the Krause lab in March 2019, with interest in understanding the mechanisms underlying the cell fate decision in megakaryocyte/erythroid progenitors.
